Traditional Windsor Chair-making Workshop

Create a Windsor Chair from a freshly milled green log. No power tools, nails or sandpaper used. This is a very special opportunity to make your own heirloom chair.

In this seven day workshop you will begin with a freshly milled green log of wood and using traditional methods and tools you will create a chair that is both elegant and practical.

This is a heart and soul experience, a journey of the soul not just building something.

Using ancient tools is an amazing experience and takes you back to when these skills and tools were valued.

Working in symphony with the natural material you will create a chair to be admired.

A very special experience and worth the time, passion and energy of a creative heart.

This is a nearly forgotten art that embraces the resourcefulness traditions of the past yet looking to a sustainable future.

There are things that you do in life that touch your soul and this will be one of them for you.
