After attending this workshop you will know the techniques to manufacture soap that is made to your specifications, the suppliers to garner your various ingredients allowing you to produce a quality product you can be proud of.

Our soaps also contain natural dried herbs and spices, from dried petals, oil infused plant roots and dried leaves and clays. These ingredients include lavender, citrus, spice and mint. And also worthy of mention is honey from our personal beehives.

Quality refreshments including lunch are provided; you will not go hungry.

Tools and ingredients will be provided. This includes oils, herbs and spices. Bring a pair of kitchen gloves and an old towel to wrap your newly-made soap in to keep warm in transit home.

This workshop will be held in our atrium, a large open bright sunny area with a concrete floor allowing for the odd spillage (soap making ingredients are not good for precious wooden floors). We have an enormous working table allowing lots of room for all participants.

Wear comfortable casual clothing with long sleeves (an old shirt) and closed in shoes (i.e. no jandals). Please note: soap making involves the use of caustic soda which is harsh on clothing, so don’t wear your best gear. Aprons will be available for use if desired. Clothing – long sleeves (an old shirt) and closed in shoes.
