Join the artisans of old who crafted together copper, tin and other metals to form sculptures of bronze.

You will have seen bronze Bronze-Casting
sculptures in museums and halls of antiquity. Now is your own opportunity to be part of this ancient lineage with your very own bronze sculpture.

We are privileged to have local bronze sculpture artisan Frank Watson lead us on this workshop.

Frank has developed techniques over his 30 years of bronze casting work where his finished sculptures could be called photographs in bronze.

The workshop is spread over six days.

This full workshop is more comprehensive than our previous bronze workshops.

Your journey will include a detailed exploration of production and finishing techniques.

  • Design
  • Mould making
  • Casting
  • Finishing
  • Patina techniques

It encompasses six days (three weekends) spread between the Forgotten Arts Studio and Frank Watsons Foundry.

No previous experience is required.
